Ya está entre nosotros el primer avance de Creed II, esperada secuela (al menos por mí) del Spin-off de la saga Rocky que vió la luz en 2015. Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther) y Sylvester Stallone (Acorralado) vuelven a repetir sus respectivos roles protagonistas, pero Ryan Coogler le cede su puesto como director al desconocido Steven Caple Jr.
En esta ocasión Adonis se entrena para librar un combate muy especial: se trata de un duelo contra el hijo de Ivan Drago (sí, el mismo boxeador que - SPOILER- mató a su padre en Rocky IV). Eso significa una cosa que seguramente entusiasmará a los fans de esta saga: el retorno de Dolph Lundgren como el malvado púgil ruso, quien se supone que hará las vecés de entrenador de su hijo.
A su vez completan el elenco Tessa Thompson (trás Creed la vimos en Thor: Ragnarok y Westworld), Phylicia Rashad, Florian Munteanu, Woof Harris, Andre Ward y Russell Hornsby, entre otros. Por otra parte, el propio Stallone ha sido el encargado de escribir su guión (es más, en un principio iba a dirigirla también, pero al final prefirió delegar en Steven Caple Jr. dicha función).
Sobre su fecha de estreno, sabemos que se estrena el 21 de noviembre en Estados Unidos pero, al igual que su predecesora, en España no podremos verla hasta el 18 de enero. Hasta entoncés lo mejor será aplacar el hype con su potente teaser:
